QUORiON Introduces GPRS
Module for Cash Registers

Once development is complete the QUORiON GPRS modules will furnish the
following capabilities for data security and management functions in cash
registers:
- get all kinds of reports from your cash register anywhere in the world
- update cash register software from a remote server (e.g. QFLASH via
FTP)
- update stocks and customer settings from a remote server (e.g. QProg
via FTP)
- send data backup files to remote (FTP-) server and utilize these for
data recovery
- analyze your system (hardware and software) and send status reports
to service server (version numbers of soft- and firmware, used memory,
status of sub-controllers, operating and battery voltages, etc)
- send fiscal reports to fiscal authority - location-independent
- manage web-based authorization processes of credit card payment (electronic
cash)
- enable processing of web-based applications via internet
with a handset you can setup a voice connection to any location in the
world
Currently, it is possible to send fiscal reports to fiscal authority
for location-independent transmission.
