After the premier participation at a foreign trade show in Shanghai last
fall, QUORiON presented itself again on the international stage at the
2008 GITEX Fair held in Dubai, UAE. “Our primary objective was to introduce
ourselves to POS distributors in the Middle East as well as produce interest
on the African continent”, Tobias Sturm, Sales Export Manager explains.
“Being a member of the Germany booth once again proved invaluable as everything
was perfectly organized despite the great distance away from our headquarters
in Erfurt.”
As a result, the QUORiON team was able to record numerous inquiries from
local businesses as well as complete fruitful talks with existing regional
clients. The team indeed presented the latest POS systems in the QUORiON
product line to potential clients from Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
"Our line of touch screen and PC
based POS systems did especially well", Mr. Sturm asserts. The
number of attendees exceeded expectations and the satisfied team departed
the Middle East again, confident in their newly generated leads.
Promising talks are already taking place to cement and welcome new partnerships
to the growing QUORiON family.
