The Windows based program OptiCash enables Quorion cash
registers to communicate with a PC via a serial interface. Our software
allows you to quickly and easily program your cash register on your PC.
OptiCash has several lists, entry, and selection windows which show the
status values through which you can change the cash register parameters
as desired. Data such as the time, date, keyboard layout, headers and
footers, taxes, etc. can be programmed easily. The program offers an extensive
database which facilitates working with PLU or department data. In addition,
you can send the sales data to the PC for further evaluation. Furthermore,
OptiCash allows you to store all financial data, reports, and programmed
values as a file on your PC. This enables you to maintain an exact archive.
The graphical user interface is based on the operating system Windows
98 or higher and guarantees maximum user friendliness. You do the entire
programming off-line. In other words, there is no connection between the
cash register and the PC. Once you have completed all of your programming,
you can transfer all the information to the cash register.

(the program requires the Borland Database Engine (BDE)). You must install
the database first before starting the demo program. It is included in
the ZIP file.
